I completed two GOLD Loyalty Club fall HVAC Super Tune-Ups on Carrier systems located in the attic and basement. During today’s preventative HVAC maintenance, I completed our comprehensive tune-up checklist, replaced the refrigerant service port caps, washed both outdoor units, and tested each system for proper operation. On the basement system, I found the outdoor secondary start device was over five years old and testing below the recommended range, so replacement was recommended to help prevent an unexpected breakdown. Both systems are currently up and running.
